2008 Plans Launch with new Website
Mooresville, NC. 03-15-08 - The Sommer Motorsports team is proud to
announce their plans for the 2008 season. The upcoming season will bring
major goals, and exciting new adventures for the primary driver Cody Sommer.
Sommer, a well established dirt racer, will share his seat with NASCAR drivers
Chad McCumbee, Kevin Hamlin, and Bryan Clauson.. These NASCAR National
series drivers will be driving the Sommer Motorsports NASCAR Late Model in an
effort to mentor the young sensation of Cody Sommer. The team will be working
together through many pre-season tests toward developing Cody in his debut in
a NASCAR type racecar. Some of the most knowledgeable people in the
business will be working to produce sure results. The team is starting fresh with
a new 2008 Marlowe Chassis, and for the first time the power plant will be of
Dodge status. With Dodge engine support and the best chassis builder in the
country the team is already doing amazing things for the upcoming season. The
team will be based out of Mooresville, NC. “Race City USA” The new website
www.codysommer.com will bring fans, media, and supporters all together on the
most up to date news and information for the Sommer Motorsports group and
